Alphonsus Eba, embattled Chairman of the All Peoples Congress, APC, in Cross River State, has come clear that he wants peace, love, unity and growth to reign in the party in Cross River State, and subsequently announced that he has set aside his legal pursuit, challenging his ousting as Chairman of the party in the state.
On his verified Facebook page, Eba stated that, he has trusted God for direction and listened to wide counsel of most leaders, true friends and family members, and has “come to the conclusion that, it will be pleasing to God for us to let our mantra of Peace, Love, Unity and Growth reign in APC.”
He went on to state that, “after due consideration and all the pleas from our leaders, true friends and family members, …we cannot afford to return APC to the 2019 situation where similar disagreements denied the party‘s candidates legal validity and legitimacy. I have therefore withdrawn all legal processes earlier filed in court and I further relinquish the interim orders in my favor in the interest of peace, prosperity and progress of our party.”
