Former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke, stole the show at today’s Calabar Bikers Carnival with an appearance that was cheered on by a massive crowd of spectators who trooped out to watch bikers drawn from several states in the country and beyond thrill spectators.

Duke, who rode what a spectator described as a “Spiderman super bike”, with his wife, Onari Duke behind, awed the spectators who continuously chanted “Donald, Donald” as he waltzed through the carnival route. He acknowledged cheers continuously as most of them broke into a frenzy as he made two road trips on the Calabar Road through Mary Slessor and Marian to MCC route.

State governor, Ben Ayade, also added colour to the well attended road show with an appearance that was also cheered as speakers mounted on several points on Marian Road, blarred music that excited the crowd. We can also reveal that tomorrow’s carnival of the bands is eagerly awaited.
