HORROR: Man Butchers Man To Death Over Girlfriend In Ogoja

Posted on July 24, 2025 By Admin No Comments on HORROR: Man Butchers Man To Death Over Girlfriend In Ogoja

In what is a horror show that has gripped large parts of Ogoja Local Government Area, Cross River North, and beyond, the gruesome murder of one Gabriel Alim from Igodor community in Ogoja LGA, by a murder suspect, Solomon Akpan Ngban, from Ukpagada community, has left the entire area in tears.

Ngban, the suspected assailant.

Community sources say Ngban and the deceased appear to have had a long standing disagreement over a girl, simply referred to us as Margaret. The girl is believed to be in separate relationships with the two men.

Alim, the deceased.

We were further informed that on the dark day of the incident, Ngban met Alim at Margaret’s place and a disargeement led into a scuffle. A highly charged Ngban left and shortly returned with a machet, delivering deadly matchet cuts that stunned onlookers and pandemonium ensued.

The victim passed on before medical attention could reach him and has been buried. Police investigations are on, even though the suspect is at large.
