The member representing Obudu/ Bekwarra/ Obanliku, Federal Constituency, Cross River State, in Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Peter Akpanke, has concluded plans to begin a needs assessment tour of his constituency.

A release signed by the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the honourable member, Friday Awade, indicate that the tour which will cover the three local government areas that make up the constituency, will begin with Bekwarra LGA, this Monday, June 19th, 2023.

Accordingly, the following category of constituents in Bekwarra LGA, the release said, have been invited to attend the event; all traditional rulers, community/opinion leaders across party lines, religious leaders, as well as women/youth leaders.

When he spoke with www.calitown.com, Awade said “this exercise will provide the legislator with first hand feedback on the immediate communicated needs of his constituents. This in turn will guide him in the design and implementation of adequate responses for interventions across the constituency.”

The remaining two local government areas, will take their turns accordingly.
