JUST IN: Man Bags 22 Years In Jail For Raping Step-Child

Posted on January 12, 2021 By Admin No Comments on JUST IN: Man Bags 22 Years In Jail For Raping Step-Child
Emmanuel Udo, the convict.

The Cross River State High Court, presided over by the Hon. Justice E.E. Ita, has sentenced one Emmanuel Thompson Udo, to 22 years of in prison for raping his 14-year old step-child.

The presiding judge, who is also the Acting Chief Judge, Cross River State and presiding Judge of the Family Court, while delivering judgement, frowned at the convict’s act especially that he could carry out such a despicable act on a child who calls him father. He handed down the heavy sentence to like he said, be a lesson to several other men who may harbour such thoughts, just like he believes the sentencing will serve as a deterrent to others.

Udo was accordingly taken away from court this morning to serve out his prison sentence.
