JUST IN: NCDC Says It Is Not Sharing Relief Funds

Posted on June 10, 2020 By Admin No Comments on JUST IN: NCDC Says It Is Not Sharing Relief Funds

Contrary to news making the rounds that the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Nigeria, is crediting personal accounts of citizens with funds, tagged “relief funds”, the Centre has in a widely circulated message said it is not and does not immediatel plan to do so.

The notice reads: “Any informationion on relief funds being shared by NCDC for the lockdown is FALSE. Please Take Responsibility by verifying information before sharing.”

This notice, for a broad spectrum of Nigerians, warns that people should equally guard against fraudsters who may have designed this message for the sole purpose of defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.
