Kidnappers Burst Roof, Abduct Redeemed Pastor In Calabar

Posted on November 14, 2021November 14, 2021 By Admin No Comments on Kidnappers Burst Roof, Abduct Redeemed Pastor In Calabar
Adediran

A Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor, identified to www.calitown.com as Sunday Olu Adediran and a yet to be identified female teacher, have been abducted in Calabar, Cross River State, in circumstances that look like something out of a movie.

Sources who spoke with www.calitown.com revealed that the pastor’s abductors gained entrance into his apartment at Ikot Eneobong, 8 Miles area of Calabar Municipality, after bursting his roof and ceiling open, at about 1am.

The roof torn open.

The reason for this abduction is unclear but in recent times abductions of this nature have been for ransoms in a city not known for crimes of this nature.

A top Police source spoken to confirmed the abduction and further revealed that “they are random kidnappers. This is what has been going on for almost five incidents within the last 50 days. The 8 Miles area is sparsely occupied with no roads, neighbors unknown to each other and mostly footpaths linked to creeks. We must go back to drawing board.” A man hunt for the suspects has begun.
