Asked to expand his view, Jarigbe points to a few lessons that were thrown up during the last elections and how it almost proved difficult for the PDP to win in some places because those the party identified with had only a little or no electoral value. “Sincerely we need people who think of how to energetically do things for this state and not people who will work at ripping us off, I am happy that the governor-elect is a grassroots man who understands this clearly and properly weighs up issues”.
For the people in his constituency it may be time to smile because he promises to “…represent my people with empathy and I am serious about that. I am committed to doing so because when you take into consideration the fact that our people lack basic amenities and all of that, there must be a deliberate attempt on my part to try to see how I can capture the things they lack in my constituency projects, of course after creating a functional feedback mechanism which will convey what areas have been identified and the level of intervention needed, so we do not misplace priorities”.
Who says u do not have what it takes to represent your constituency? That is even too small when and at what age did Gowan became the president of Nigeria?
