Mandela Bows Out!

Posted on December 6, 2013 By Admin No Comments on Mandela Bows Out!

“A great light has gone out”, were the words of British Prime Minister, David Cameron to describe the death, Thursday evening, of former Nobel Peace laurette and post-apartheid South African president, NELSON MANDELA.

Mandela was announced dead by South African president, Jacob Zuma, in a terse statement on national TV saying, “our nation has lost its greatest son”.

Madiba, as he is called locally, has been consistently hospitalized for a lung infection believed to have been as a result of his 23 years incarceration by the racist regime in his country.
