Press Release!

Lebo, Speaker, CRSHA

The Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon John Gaul Lebo condemns strongly the Thursday August 30, 2018 kidnap of Comrade Egbe Jerome in Calabar.

He describes the act as ‘barbaric and wicked’ against a harmless gentleman as Egbe Jerome.

” Jerome is a cool-headed, peaceful, very cerebral and liberal person. He is, as well, a very refined politician who goes about his politics without rancour, acrimony or malice”.

The Speaker calls on security agencies to swing into action and ensure that Comrade Egbe Jerome is successfully rescued from his abductors.

Signed:
Azogor Ideba,
Chief Press Secretary,
Office of the Speaker.
