Robbers Snatch AK47 From Police Inspector

Posted on February 19, 2015 By Admin No Comments on Robbers Snatch AK47 From Police Inspector

Sources within the Police in Calabar have informed www.calitown.com that a police Inspector posted to the Glo office in the city is presently behind bars after suspected armed robbers overpowered him and made away with his service rifle, an AK47. While the sources declined to relate the circumstances under which the incident took place, we gathered from other sources that he was attacked late Monday this week at his duty post at the telecommunication giant’s office situated on Marian Road, Calabar. It was further disclosed that while the Inspector remains in detention, the Police has swung into action, hoping to recover the rifle.
