EMPOWERMENT & HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT

* Distribution of hand pumps and herbicides to farmers in Obudu.

* Distribution of hand pumps and herbicides to farmers in Obanliku

* Distribution of hand pumps and herbicides to farmers in Bekwarra

* Distributed over 200 bags of NPK Fertilizers to rural farmers across the constituency in 2023.

* Distribution of over 600 bags of fertilizers (Urea) to farmers across the federal constituency in 2024.

* Distributed over 150 bags of NPK 15:15:15 fertilizers to farmers across the federal constituency in 2025.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENTS:

* Distribution of over 200 grinding machines across the constituency

* Distribution of over 200 sewing machines across the constituency

* Distributed over 40 Motorcycles to constituents across the constituency.

* Empowered his constituent with a Toyota Camry car

 SKILL AND WELFARE PROGRAMMES 

* Facilitated training and empowerment of constituents in makeup and hairdressing.

* Distribution of food items to over 1000 widows and vulnerable groups across the constituency

*Empowered 33 women from across his Federal constituency with Start up capital of (100,000) each to begin micro businesses in 2026.

* Distribution of over 1000 bags of rice, cash and other incentives to constituents during the nation wide protest.

* Lent support, Back to School Programme with educational material support.

* Payment of school fees for orphans and vulnerable children across the constituency

* Scholarships awarded to Best JAMB scorer from the constituency and over 9 students from the federal constituency.

* Bursary support of ?200,000 each to 54 law school students from the constituency.

* 600 Free JAMB forms distributed across the constituency

* Free transportation for students returning to school for three consecutive years.

Healthcare Initiative:

  • 112 surgeries
  • 19 surgical referrals

Retainership with Sacred Heart Hospital, Obudu, where constituents with critical Health Conditions are treated free.

 JOB PLACEMENT & YOUTH EMPOWERMENT:

* Peter Akpanke has facilitated employment opportunities for constituents in federal agencies, including:

5 EFCC officers

5 placements in NDLEA

4 Officers in the Nigerian Army

10 placements in the Nigeria Police Force

3 appointments at the Federal College of Education, Obudu.

15 Cross River State Civil Service Commission
