Some Special Advisers May Be In The Pool

Perhaps as something that can be referred to as a new way of doing things, www.calitown.com has scooped that of the 35 Special Advisers CR governor, Ben Ayade, intends to pick, a good number of them may be in a pool, waiting to replace others who do not perform along the way.

“These people should look at Ayade’s pedigree and know that the man hires and fires easily; he has ideas to implement and is working like a clock, those who cannot keep up with the pace will be gone in a blink of an eye. So when any of the SA’s is eased out, one from the pool will take over and the governor will have no need to go to the House of Assembly for approval to appoint an SA or two”, our source concluded.

But other sources are insisting that he will reduce the number of commissioners and bloat the number of special advisers to accommodate “all those who have come home from Abuja after PDP lost at the centre”.

Pls note, you don’t need the approval of the State Assembly for SA nominees. Once they approve the number of SAs its up to the Governor to pick who ever he fancies.
