UCTH Gets New Director Of Administration

Maria Maureen Bassey, has been appointed the new Director of Administration, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH.

Bassey, an alumni of the University of Benin, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical and Health Education, a Master’s Degree in Health Planning and Management, as well as a PhD. in Educational Administration and Planning from the University of Calabar. A seasoned administrator, she was until her appointment, Head of General Administration and SERVICOM, UCTH, Calabar .

She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria, Management Institute of Nigeria and the Institute of Health Service Administrators of Nigeria.

Her appointment, conveyed in a letter from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare as the new Director of Administration and Board Secretary, is with effect from May 24, 2024.
