Unical Has New DVC – Academics

Obi, DVC Academics, Unical
Authorities of the University of Calabar, Unical, have confirmed the appointment of Psychology of Education Professor, Florence Banku Obi, as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics of the institution, www.calitown.com can confirm.

Boki, Cross River State born Obi, a 1988 graduate of the University of Jos, who obtained a Masters’ in Education degree from the University of Calabar in 1990, also studied at the Jordanhill College of Education, Glasgow, before returning to pursue a PhD in Unical, shortly after.

Colleagues in the university say she will be bringing a commensurate level of experience to her new job and also help new Vice-Chancellor, Zana Akpagu, successfully pilot the affairs of Unical.
