Posted on December 8, 2023December 8, 2023 By Admin No Comments on Unicross Responds, Upgrades Sloppy Christmas Decoration At School Gate
Old decoration.

Authorities of the University of Cross River State, UNICROSS, called out and trending on social media all week, for the poor aesthetics of the Christmas decoration at the school gate, have responded, taking down the poor decoration and replacing it with an upgraded decoration and a statement accepting responsibility for the poor design.

New decoration.

“The previous Christmas decoration at the main gate of Calabar campus of UNICROSS attracted more of ridicule than admiration. Therefore, the gate has been redesigned”, the statement began.

“There is no ambiguity in the new design. This good development confirms that the Vice Chancellor and Management of UNICROSS are always willing to take immediate action to do the needful in the best interest of the University and in the interest of the public. UNICROSS deserves admiration for this”, the statement ended.

On social media, Austin Angba, a Professor and Vice Chancellor of the university as well as some principal officers of the institution were tagged to several online posts, drawing their attention to the high aesthetics in the Christmas decorations at the University of Calabar main gate, compared to the initial poor decoration at the Unicross gate.
