Driven by visions of a coalition of interests and inspired for the common aims of unity, service and prosperity, the Ugep People Consultative Assembly, UPCA, says it is working to bring together all sons and daughters of the Ugep, Yakurr LGA, Cross River State, to embrace a communal approach to achieving development.

Using continuous engagement with the people he added, UPCA will be able to generate and harvest feedback that will be needs specific and used in addressing adequately, the problems that continue to challenge Ugep.

Earlier, Chairman of Yakurr LGA, Yibala Inyang, represented by the Supervisor for Health, Patrick Ije, commended UPCA for embracing community responsibility and demonstrating capacity and commitment to drive development in the area. He assured UPCA that he fully supports their activities and was also ready to lend further support as events unfold. He made a cash donation to UPCA.

Present at the event, Obol Lopon of Ugep and paramount ruler of Yakurr LGA, Obol Ofem Ubana Eteng, praised UPCA for her visionary approach to improving Ugep. He blessed their initiative and promised to rally more community support for UPCA.
