Veteran journalist and seasoned administrator, Unimke Columbus Nawa, has passed on, www.calitown.com can reveal. He passed on yesterday, March 1, 2019, family sources further revealed.

Better known in journalism circles as Unimke Nawa, the deceased was at one time the General Manager of the Cross River State Newspaper Corporation, publishers of the Nigerian Chronicle and also worked with the defunct Concord Newspapers owned by deceased politician and businessman, MKO Abiola.

Godwin Nawa, brother to the deceased, above a picture of the deceased wrote thus:
