War Dance: Two Killed In Ugep, Several Mourn

Posted on December 31, 2018 By Admin 1 Comment on War Dance: Two Killed In Ugep, Several Mourn
The Obam war dance.

Two men have been shot to death in a freak accident minutes ago in Ugep Yakurr Local Government Area, www.calitown.com can reliably report.

The victims were shot just before the famous Obam war dance in Ugep was to commence a memorial display in honour of one late chief, Nkanu Ubana.

“One of the dancers with a double barrel rifle, appear to be checking his just loaded rifle when it mysteriously discharged, killing one person on the spot and wounding a second person. The second person unfortunately died while being conveyed to the hospital”, one witness to the accident told www.calitown.com.

Before we went to press, www.calitown.com confirmed that the shooter and corpses are in police custody while the mood in the town has been subdued.

More details shortly.
