Yakurr Welcomes New Paramount Ruler!

Ugep, headquarters of Yakurr Local Government Area, Cross River State was agog as the new Paramount Ruler of the LGA and the Obol Lopon of Ugep, HRM. Obol Ofem Ubana Eteng, returned to the area, after his election as Paramount Ruler of the LGA and subsequent arrival in Ugep.

People lined the streets of Ugep chanting songs in solidarity as a convey of cars, motorcycles and people, accompanied the new Paramount Ruler as he drove through the streets of Ugep. Credit: O. Orubebe
