…Promises To Reclaim CR

The Peoples Democrate Party, PDP, in Cross River State, has concluded arrangements to inaugurate its Campaign Council, promising to reclaim the state in the 2023 polls.

With 1,080 members, the Campaign Council which also has 18 sub-committees, is headed by the former CRS governor, Donald Duke, as chairman with former Deputy Governor, Efiok Cobham, as Director-General.

The campaign structure has Ekpo Ada, Esq, Gabe Odu Orji and Mom Olom as Southern, Central and Norther senatorial districts coordinators, respectively.

In a press statement made available to newsmen, the state party chairman, Venatius Ikem, Esq, said the members would be inaugurated on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Venetian Mall, Murtala Mohammed Highway, Calabar, at 2:00pm.

Ikem enjoined the members, who would work in the various directorates of the Campaign Organisation, to be prepared to work assiduously towards recaliming the state. “I congratulate all members oft he council for meriting the onerous task of reclaiming Cross River State from the abyss”, he said

The state-wide campaign is expected to roll off after the inauguration and would be followed with ward-to-ward campaigns.
