Man Falls To Death While Painting CR Commissioner’s House

Posted on December 20, 2022December 20, 2022 By Admin No Comments on Man Falls To Death While Painting CR Commissioner’s House

A middle aged man, identified to www.calitowncom as Ubi Edet, has fallen to his death while painting the house of a member of the Cross River State Executive Council.

Edet, while painting the country home of John Inyang, Cross River State Commissioner for Lands and Housing, in Idomi, Yakurr LGA, fell from one part of the scafold, constructed for the painting of the building.

Contacted shortly after the tragedy, Inyang appeared to only have been aware of the situation after he spoke with us. Sounding distressed, he exclusively told www.calitown.com that he was only informed by the contractor that a worker fell from the scafold, broke his hand and was receiving medical attention in a hospital in Ugep. The enormity of the unfortunate situation was not communicated to him. At press time, the corpse of the victim has been deposited at the General Hospital, Ugep morgue.
