
We can confirm that, Head, Benin Zonal Command of Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Effa Imoh Okim has been inducted Fellow, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.
A pronouncement to this effect was made yesterday, Saturday 4, 2025, in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, during the 4th Statutory Council Meeting of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, NIESV.
Victor Alonge, President and Chairman of Council, NIESV, while commending members for their dedication and commitment to the institution’s growth, reaffirmed the administration’s focus on the 4Rs Agenda – Reform, Restructuring, Repositioning, and Relevance, aimed at strengthening the institution’s impact nationally and globally.

He reiterated the institution’s commitment to professionalism, ethical governance, and enhanced visibility within key sectors of the economy.
The meeting also featured an interactive session with prospective Fellows of the Institution, who had the opportunity to engage with Council members as part of their induction process.
Contacted shortly after the announcement was made, Okim, who is of Cross River extraction, informed www.calitown.com that “this Fellowship is something to treasure. Okim heads the Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC, covering Edo, Delta and Ondo states. The formal induction of Fellows ceremony will hold at the Eko Hotel. Lagos on February 21, 2025.
