CRBO Marks One Year, Spreads Love, Drums Up Support For Gov Otu

Eyo, when she led CRBO on a visit to Gov. Otu.

One year on, acting as a visible vanguard and taking the governance principles of Cross River State governor, Bassey Edet Otu, beyond offices and speeches, into the lives of people, the group, Cross Riverians 4 Bassey Otu, CRBO, says through the hands, voices, and dedication of people who believe that leadership must be understood, felt, and experienced– more people have embraced the governance model of the CRS governor.

Gnarly Eyo, National President of CRBO, who made this disclosure in Calabar, the state capital, further explained that, “in one year, what began as an idea, has grown into a movement. We nurtured it carefully. We expanded it deliberately and today, we are exceeding expectations”.

“Otuism, the governance model of the Cross River State governor that we are drawing attention to, is empathic, performance driven, people centred and responsive to our collective needs as Cross Riverians. We have carried this message to fishermen braving cold seas, to farmers tending fields in isolation, to market women, even to artisans whose hands shape life itself.”

“Without Bassey Otu’s vision, his leadership, and his example, there would be no Otuism. The governor has indeed shown that governance can be principled, inclusive, and transformative. His dedication has given rise to this movement, and it is our responsibility to carry it forward”, she further disclosed.

For Otu’s second term in office, Eyo maintained: “Time is not on our side. Elections are approaching, and the responsibility we bear is immense. Every hand must be on deck. Every supporter must be mobilized. Every voice must amplify this vision. We must leave no stone unturned, no community unreached, and no supporter unattended.”

“Our mission is clear: to deliver our principal, Bassey Otu, for his second term. This is not a request, it is a duty… a commitment to the people, to the philosophy of Otuism, and to the future of our state.”

CRBO used this yuletide season to put smiles on the faces of several individuals who received food and gift items as well as cash.
