Oyama Prince – David Enang, aspiring to represent Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, says he will take community complaints to Abuja if he is elected to the House of Representatives.
Enang who spoke during extensive consultations in Etung LGA, Cross River Central, explained that these community complaints will be generated through extensive community to community engagements which aim to identify the specific needs of each community before complaints are packaged and taken to the floor of the House in Abuja.
While he will vigorously pursue his law making, representation and oversight functions, Enang promises to be humane in addressing pressing personal needs of his constituents, remain accessible and work for the overall good of his constituency.
He further re-echoed the arguement that his native Adun clan in Obubra LGA, remains the only clan in Obubra that has not produced a House of Representatives member, appealing that this perceived political imbalance should be corrected. “It will give my people a sense of belonging as well address an issue that is seriously troubling my people. I am appealing to you people directly and believe you have the conscience and political will to mention this in the high places you go to and make this happen”, he concluded.
