Okuabang/Bebo Communal Clash, Nine Killed This Morning

Posted on March 11, 2018 By Admin No Comments on Okuabang/Bebo Communal Clash, Nine Killed This Morning

Our reporter, live in Boki Local Government Area, Cross River Central, has just called in to inform that nine persons of Okuabang community, engaged in a communal clash with neighbouring Bebo community, lost their lives this morning in circumstances not unrelated to the conflict between the two communities, www.calitown.com can report.

The victims are said to have braved the odds and went as a group to tap palmwine this morning when their assailants attacked and hacked them to death. One lucky person escaped the murderous onslaught and alerted Okuabang community to what has just befallen them. We also can report that the drafting of soldiers to quell the clash has seen this unfortunate engagement shift to the bush.

…more details shortly.
