Ayade’s Swearing-In Programme Released

The programme of activities for the inauguration/swearing-in ceremony of His Excellency, Ben Ayade and His Excellency, Ivara Ejemot Esu, OFR as Governor and Deputy Governor of Cross River State, for a second term in office, has been released.

According to the release signed by Rosemary Archibong, Commissioner for Information, CRS, activities will commence with a Ju’mat service on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Calabar Central Mosque, 101 Calabar Road, Calabar from 1.00pm.

On Sunday, May 26, 2019, a thanksgiving mass will hold at the St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church, Essien Town, Calabar at 10.00 a.m.

At 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the U. J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, there will be a novelty football match between the CRS Executive Council and the CRS House of Assembly, preceding the valedictory Executive Council meeting billed for 1.00 p.m. A Valedictory Dinner in Honour of the governor and his deputy, organised by the Special Advisers Forum, will hold from 7.00 p.m. at the Transcorp Hotel, Calabar. Admission to the dinner, www.calitown.com gathered, is by invitation.

The inauguration/swearing-in ceremony/parade proper will hold on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the U. J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar from 10.00 a.m.

The release ended by inviting the general public, all Service Chiefs, members of the Diplomatic Corp, leaders of all registered Political Parties, Captains of Industries, the Business Community, Religious Leaders, Traditional Rulers, Women Organisations, Youths and all Cross Riverians to the event.
