A yet to be identified woman in Calabar, was this Sunday evening involved in a ghastly accident while chasing and attempting to accost her husband on the suspicion that the lady in the man’s vehicle, is her husband’s girlfriend.

Sources who have insisted on anonymity told www.calitown.com that the woman is believed to have sighted her husband leaving Calabar SPAR in the company of the female companion when she tried to block her husband’s car with the Toyota Highlander she was driving in. Her husband is said to have manouvred his vehicle out of the attempted blockade and hit the Murtala Muhammed highway, with his wife is serious pursuit.

It was further revealed that in an attempt to outrun her husband, she lost control of the speeding vehicle, veered off the road and slammed the vehicle, head long, into a tree, damaging the vehicle beyond repairs and putting her life on the line.

A Facebook user, Stephen Okposin, present at the scene, posted pictures of the accident on his wall, while a video obtained by www.calitown.com, show pedestrians helping pull the unconscious lady out of her vehicle. We were unable to ascertain her medical condition at press time.
