Contemporary ‘Who Is Who In CR’ Goes Public, Dec 19, 2014

Attachment-1A compendium that profiles distinguished Cross Riverians, a “Contemporary Who’s Who in Cross River”, is scheduled for public presentation, December 19, 2014, www.calitown.com has reliably gathered. This special reference book on personalities in Cross River has been described as “the most comprehensive, concise and authoritative personality profile reference book ever published in the state”.

Jointly edited by the Cross River Commissioner for Information, Akin Ricketts, former Commissioner for Information and later, Youth and Sports, Patrick Ugbe; as well as the Special Assistant, Media, Strategy and Documentation in the Office of the Wife of Governor, Mr. Kammonke Abam, this edition is coming 13 years after the work was first published in 2000.

A statement by the publishers, Profiles & Biographies, indicates that, “significantly, for the first time in the history of profile-related documentation, a reasonable number of women are included in the book”.

Meanwhile entries for the 2015 edition of the special publication are being received. Forms are free and can be downloaded from the Cross River State website.
