CP Akpan, New CR Commissoner Of Police Resumes

New Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Nkereuwem Akpan, recently posted to the state, earlier today, resumed at his new posting. Akpan takes over from Austin Agbonlahor, promoted from CP to Assistant Inspector General, AIG, of police.

Nkereuwem who also had a short media parley with a select corps of journalists in Calabar today, also used the opportunity to sue for cooperation between the police and the media in furtherance of set objectives.

The new CP who is from Akwa Ibom State, is a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
