CR Gets New Head of Service, Accountant General, 12 Other Appointments

Cross River State governor, Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the appointment of Innocent Eteng as new Head of the CRS Civil Service. An alumna of the University of Port Harcourt, Eteng also holds a PhD from the University of Calabar, with specialty in Syntax.

The governor also approved the appointments of Glory Tony Effiong as Accountant General of the state, Anne N. Essessien, Auditor General and Eni Oden Ofem, Auditor General (Local Govt)

Similarly, the following appointments were made; Victor Edet, SSA, International Cooperation and Investment, Francis Odey Ntamu, SSA, Public-Private Partnership and Infrastructure, Ani Esin, SA, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Henry Onwe, Project Coordinator, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), Emmanuel Eyo, Coordinator, Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), while George O’ben Etche is the new Chairman, Cross River State Forestry Commission.

Emmanuel Abeng, Kelvin Ojong, Oyo Emmanuel, Isaac Obo, will serve on the Board of the CRS Forestry Commission as members.

All the appointments are with immediate effect.
