An Inspector in the Nigeria Immigration Service, Abam U. Gabriel, lying critically injuried at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH, is crying out for help and medical assistance after sustaining life threatening wounds from a bloody encounter with bandits in Gusau, Zamfara State, North of Nigeria, www.calitown.com can reveal.

Abam who spoke exclusively to www.calitown.com, from his hospital bed, informed that, the “incident occured on the 27th of January 2025 around 12:am. Armed Fulani bandits stormed my residential area, opposite Federal College Of Education & Technology, FCET, Gusau. They were more than 20 armed Fulanis. They started abducting people from house to house. They knocked on my door and forced it open, only to confront me. A gun battle ensued and I shot and killed three of the bandits . I only realised I had been shot in the right leg and badly wounded, when the attack ceased and the bandits left the place. Four persons were kidnapped.”

At UNTH, he has just undergone surgery and needs “assistance from good spirited Nigerians to help me return to my duty post”, he pleads.

He can be reached for financial assistance at First Bank. ACCT NO: 3038976628, Gabriel
