Stephen Ukpukpen

Tragedy has befallen the Cross River State House of Assembly, CRSHA, this morning as we can reveal that Stephen Ukpukpen, representing Obudu I State Constituency in the Assembly, has passed on.

One member of the House who spoke with www.calitown.com confirmed that the deceased lawmaker slumped to his death while exercising this morning. “I am still in shock. Stevo’s death is something I can’t believe. What is this life all about. They say we should exercise to be healthy, now he went to exercise and slumped to his death. May God have mercy on us all”, the lawmaker said.

Ukpukpen’s official residence in the Assembly Village, Ekorinim I, Calabar, is presently being besieged by colleagues, family members and sympathisers.

Exercise needs prescription, besides people don’t know their Cardiovascular Status.
Sad indeed, May his soul rest in perfect peace.
