CRUTECH: Popular Shop Owner Slumps, Dies!

Posted on September 21, 2019September 21, 2019 By Admin No Comments on CRUTECH: Popular Shop Owner Slumps, Dies!
Mourinho’s corpse.

The corpse of a popular shop owner in the Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH, Calabar, was this morning found cold stiff between Halls II and III, the male hostels in the institution, according to monitored reports from CRUTECH, to the consternation of the university community.

While the cause of his death was not immediately known, sources inside the school suspect the deceased, known popularly by his nickname, Mourinho, may have been strangled to death.

But the police in Calabar say the deceased was not strangled but slumped and died adding that no foul play was suspected. Irene Ugbo, a DSP and Police Public Relations Officer, CRS, told www.calitown.com that “our men quickly went to the scene and saw him. Accordingly, we immediately established contact with the family before conveying his remains to the mortuary. It is important to state this clearly so that the CRUTECH community will not be ill at ease”, she concluded.
