German Evangelist, Bonnke Passes On

Reinhard Bonnke, German Pentecostal evangelist, principally known for his gospel missions throughout Africa, has passed on, his wife Anni and entire family have reported in the last hour and a half, www.calitown.com can reveal.

Anni who communicated her spouse’s demise through several Bonnke associated media handles, wrote that, “It is with sorrow that the Bonnke Family would like to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 7, 2019. For the past 60 years he has preached the glorious Gospel of Jesus throughout the entire world. We want to thank you on behalf of him and our family, for your kind love and unwavering support, which enabled him to preach the matchless message of salvation to countless people.”

Bonnke, born on 19 April 1940, was an exceptional evangelist and missionary who has worked in several parts of Africa since 1967, equally overseeing 75 million recorded conversions to Christ, worldwide. He is survived by his wife Anni and children, Susie Bonnke, Gabrielle Bonnke and Kai-Uwe Bonnke.
