“Go And Protect The Food On Your Table” – Ayade To Aides

Posted on December 13, 2018 By Admin No Comments on “Go And Protect The Food On Your Table” – Ayade To Aides
Gov. Ayade

At a meeting held with his large contingent of aides in Calabar, Wednesday, December 12, 2018, Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade, has urged them “to go and protect the food on your tables”, in a direct charge that should see the aides go back to their political units and vigorously campaign for Ayade’s re-election.

Several of the aides present at the meeting informed www.calitown.com that what the governor told them was not out-of-place as they now understand that their appointment was also a political strategy long conceived by the governor and now about to be deployed “for our principal’s benefit and by derivation, ours”, as one of the aides put it.

An insider source, one we will not mention, maintained that those who are unable to canvass for and win support for Ayade, will have accordingly lost their appointments if Ayade wins. “It is logical enough and no one can fault the governor. This is a competition and if his team players cannot help him win, they will lose their places on the team so that other people who help him win can replace them. Losers cannot be kept on a team like ours”, we were told.
