Group Presents PDP Senate Expression Of Interest And Nomination Forms To Senatorial Aspirant

A group, the Network of Public Health and Development Professionals, Abuja Chapter, has presented the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to Thomas Ofem, aspiring to represent Cross River Central Senatorial District in Nigeria’s Senate.

The forms, purchased by the group, at the National Headquarters of the PDP, are in support of Ofem, a member of the group, who the group believe possesses requisite qualification to represent the district in the Senate..

Fayman Omini, who chairs the Network of Public Health and Development Professionals, Abuja Chapter, while making the presentation onbehalf of group, urged Ofem to maintain the momentum and give the Senatorial District a fresh breath of air when he eventually gets to the red chambers of the National Assembly.

Ofem, popularly known as Bob T, while receiving the forms, thanked the group for believing in him and banking on him. He insisted that, “it’s not every day you get a N3.8 million gift and I don’t take this gesture for granted” He thanked the group for this gesture and promised to give in my best.

The aspirant further thanked the National Working Committee of the PDP, led by Iyorchia Ayu, the leadership of the party in CRS led by state party chairman, Vena Ikem as well as former CRS governor, Liyel Imoke, for providing a level playing ground for party members vying for different elective positions.

Ogar Okune, Director General of the “Bob Tee for Senate Campaign Organization”, present at the event, also thanked the leadership of the Network of Public Health and Development Professionals for the gesture and wished them well, going forward.
