Just before press time this evening, it was impossible to know the exact number of persons believed to have lost their lives at Tuesday’s Biker’s Carnival in Calabar, Cross River State, as video evidence obtained by www.calitown.com show several mangled bodies and survivors being taken away by volunteers still in shock at the enormity of the carnage that hit the Bogobiri, Calabar axis of the carnival route.

Eyewitnesses a vehicle may have over spun, losing control and running into the heavy line of spectators watching the event, causing grave bodily harm to survivors.
