N197 Million ‘Loss’ In CR AG’s Office, Security Agents Step In, Make Arrests

Posted on March 10, 2015March 10, 2015 By Admin No Comments on N197 Million ‘Loss’ In CR AG’s Office, Security Agents Step In, Make Arrests

Copy of NEW LOGO OF CRSIt appears those fingered in the close to N200 million suspected diversion of government funds in the CRS Accountant-General’s office are presently talking to law enforcement agents as sources within the office have informed www.calitown.com that “it has been a busy time in the office with the arrests and invitations to the police”.

The man (name withheld) at the centre of the storm is thought to have given the police adequate information that may help plug whatever loopholes may have been exploited by the staff who is thought to have maintained a lavish lifestyle, “even getting himself a driver that he pays from his pocket, but that is out of the question now and we are sure by the time he comes back, he will be a changed person”, as insider sources said.

Recall our report that a whooping N197 million in government cheques was cleared into the personal account of a staff in the A-G’s office.
