Ndoma-Egba Loses CR Central Senatorial Primaries

Reports out of the Cross River Central Senatorial district say House of Representatives member, John Owan Enoh will represent the district in Nigeria’s Red Chamber after defeating Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba in the PDP primaries for the district, www.calitown.com can reveal.

The defeat of Ndoma-Egba, ices the cake in a a frosty political relationship with state governor, Liyel Imoke, which has seen the governor activate a political process that excludes Ndoma-Egba’s ambition to return to the Senate. Those in the know insist that the elective procese was fair “considering that under normal circumstances, Ndoma-Egba cannot beat Owan Enoh who is more politically grounded than the Senate Leader”, as one source who does not want her name mentioned in print told www.calitown.com.

Political watchers insist that Ndoma-Egba’s defeat was a situation waiting to happen “when you consider that his victories in the past have been with tremendous government support. Now that he has been thrown out as politically expendable, he cannot complain, he has done his beat, let another person go there and gain experience and recognition like he has done”, one source submits.
