Posted on November 17, 2024 By Admin No Comments on OLUMBA: See How Brotherhood Of The Cross & Star Member Smashes Rowland Olumba Obu’s Picture

While the succession crisis within the Brotherhood of the Cross & Star, a christian sect with headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State, rages on, a video recording of the expression of anger by some members of the sect, has been made available.

In the video, an unidentified elder of the church can be seen mouthing incantations before bringing down the picture of Rowland Obu, the bishop and spiritual head of the sect.

He follows that up with picking the picture of Rowland Obu and violently smashing it, shouting loudly and pointing at the picture of Rowland’s father, Olumba Olumba Obu, the deceased founder of the sect, affirming that, “this is who we are worshipping.”

Recall that the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, was founded in 1956 by Olumba Olumba in Calabar, Cross River State. We gathered from church sources that Rowland is currently unavailable due to a health challenge. In his absence, his second wife is suspectedly fingered in a succession scheme that seeks to bypass Rowland’s first son by his first wife for another son by his second wife.
