L-R: Otu, Ricketts

Former National Ports Authority, NPA, board chairman and one-time Commissioner for Information, CRS, Akin Ricketts, has congratulated CRS governor, Bassey Edet Otu on the occasion of his 100 days in office as governor of the state.

Ricketts, in his congratulatory message said: “Your Excellency, you have remarkably done your best to improve the lives of the people of Cross River State economically and patriotically which is the change we craved for as a people. 100 days might not be enough to hurriedly meet all the expectations of the people, especially given the peculiarities of the hike in fuel pump price.”

“Taking the state to the next phase of development, as seen in your 100 days in office, no doubt demonstrates that even in the face of the nation’s economic deprivation, your willingness to make Cross River State a better place is not in doubt.”

Ricketts further scored the governor high marks for efforts so far made to tackle the insecurity problems in the state, and further prayed that achievements recorded in this 100 days of this administration will surpass that of previous administrations. “I congratulate you and the deputy governor of Cross River State, Hon Peter Odey on your Hundred (100) days in office”, he ended the congratulatory message.
