SAD: Ukpos To Bury Three Family Members In 12 Days

Arrangements have been concluded by the famous Ukpo family of Okpoma, Yala Local Government Area, Cross River State to bury three family members who recently passed away, family sources have informed www.calitown.com

For Emmanuel Ukpo, an engineer, his obsequies commence with a vigil mass to be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Christ The King Catholic Church, Okpoma. A funeral mass at the same church on Monday, September 27, 2021, will precede his interment in Okpoma.

On Friday, October 1, 2021, at the same church, another vigil mass will hold for Anthony Ukpo, the retired Brigadier General and former governor of present day Rivers State. He will be buried on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Okpoma.

The eldest of the family, Lelia Udeozo, will be buried in Awka, Anambra State on Friday, October 8, 2021, after funeral mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Awka.

The departed trio are survived by a large family and are siblings of Joseph Edra Ukpo, Emeritus Metropolitan Catholic Archbishop of the Diocese of Calabar.
