“Sometimes We Need To Say Good Bye To Get Good Luck”: DC Enamhe To Ekpungu, New EFCC Secretary

Posted on June 23, 2021 By Admin No Comments on “Sometimes We Need To Say Good Bye To Get Good Luck”: DC Enamhe To Ekpungu, New EFCC Secretary
L – R: Ekpungu, Enamhe

Awed by the appointment this week of George Ekpungu, a former commissioner in CRS, as the new Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Secretary for a term of five years, cerebral and consummate politician, DC Enamhe, pens Ekpungu this piece.

Dear George Abang Ekpungu,PhD

Congratulations…!!!

“You refused to be commissioner, today you are elevated. You refused to drop the microphone, today you have the megaphone. You refused to be humiliated, today you have been properly placed. Back then your resignation was rejected, back then your mandate was denied, back then your job description was to build new cities , your energy and love for the job was unstoppable but you had no materials to build the cities.”

“Yet just like yesterday, I watched you speak truth to power when you were offered commissionership for the second time, I watched you say nicely and clearly to your principal, “I don’t want again, give it to another person “

“You are a Man. You are a Great Man. I always knew this moment will come when Nigeria will celebrate you. Today’s mandate is so defined and you are so fit for the job. You never defected yet you got effected positively.”

“Sometimes we need to say Good Bye to get Good Luck. God got your back.”

“Kindly join me Congratulate my dear George Abang Ekpungu Ph.D former this, former that, Brilliant Attorney, Good Husband and a Good Father.”

DC Enamhe writes from Gakem, Bekwara LGA, CRS.
