After what he described as “an incredible 21 years of unwavering dedication and service”, Godwin Asu Njor, Chief Driver to Nigeria’s Sports Minister, John Owan Enjoy, has taken to social media to express his heartfelt appreciation to the minister giving him the opportunity to serve him.

“I am excited and filled with gratitude and appreciation for (sic) His Excellency, Distinguished Senator John Enoh Owan, Mrs. Rachel Enoh Owan, the entire family of Owanified, and all my friends and family. I, Godwin Asu Njor, would like to announce my retirement as the chief driver to Senator John Enoh Owan, effective April 30, 2024”, he began.

“I started working as a driver in 2003, and it has been 21 years since. I have only positive memories to cherish, and I appreciate all the blessings granted to me and my family by my Principal and wife. By the Grace of God, I was able to build a 4-bedroom house, sponsor my son Asu Eric to his first degree, and receive other financial grants. My Principal and wife also blessed me with a Sharon car and the sum of 5 million naira as my retirement package”, he glowingly revealed.

“I appreciate all the professional opportunities I have been given throughout my 21 years of working. It has truly been an honor working with Senator John Enoh Owan. I am excited to begin my new life, free to engage in my agricultural resources and create a niche for my future and children.”

Njor closed his post by wishing the minister and his entire family the very best in the coming years.

His post has drawn commendable appreciation from the public to the minister, with many online reactions praising the minister for making a positive impact in the life of his driver.
