Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, representing Cross River North Senatorial District, over the weekend, attended Likpeh Ukelle new yam festival, Yala Local Government Area, Cross River State, where he received a standing ovation for his outstanding representation of CR North, so far, from the Ukelle Traditional Rulers Council.

The council used the event to also express their heartfelt gratitude to Jarigbe for fulfilling his campaign promises, including road infrastructure development, human capital empowerment, construction of schools and healthcare facilities within Ukelle.

Responding, Jarigbe thanked the Ukelle nation for their unwavering support, promising to continue delivering on his commitments. He assured the people that he would collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Works and the Cross River State Government to complete the North Ukelle-Oju Benue Road, ensure inclusive service delivery and representation of the interests of the entire Cross River North.

“I want to sincerely thank you all for this warm reception. The Ukelle people are loving, hardworking, resilient, and humble. I promise to continue working with you, keeping my promises, and ensuring everyone counts in all my engagements as a sitting senator”.

Accompanied by a retinue of friends and associates, the senator’s presence at the festival demonstrated his dedication to the Ukelle nation and his commitment to their welfare.
