Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade will hold 18 meetings across the three senatorial districts of the state before announcing his last batch of appointments, Christian Ita, Special Adviser Media & Publicity to Ayade, has revealed in a press statement.

Investigations by www.calitown.com are pointing to the fact that the governor intends to use the meetings to thank his party men and women for their support in the last general elections as well as attempt to build and maintain some form of political cohesion within the party. It is this cohesion that Ayade and the PDP in the state hope to also leverage on as he selects generally accepted persons from these meetings with “critical stakeholders” for appointment into the State Executive Council.
