Students of Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency, returning to schools in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, after the Christmas and new year holidays, will enjoy free transportation back to school between Friday, January 12 and Saturday, January 13, 2023, member representing the constituency in Nigeria’s House of Reps, Peter Akpanke, has revealed.

Akpanke further revealed that the muster point for students of Obanliku origin is the Sankwala Junction, Amunga, where vehicles will be positioned to ferry them to Calabar from 8am, each day. Obudu students will be conveyed to Calabar from the MRS fuel Station, Obudu, while the Unbeatable fuel station, Abouchiche, will be where Bekwarra students will converge for onward movement to Calabar.

The following mobile phone numbers, 07038145447, 08100233535, have been designated as numbers to call for clarification(s) additional information.

The Member of Parliament, MP, informed that the commencement of transport subsidy for students of tertiary institutions in his constituency is part of measures he has embraced to help cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal and high cost of transportation currently experienced by Nigerians.
