Peter Akpanke, President, The Akpanke Foundation TAF, has visited the Sacred Heart Hospital, Obudu, Cross River North, and cleared the hospital bill of all patients in the hospital, putting smiles on the faces of patients and family members at the Catholic medical facility.

Akpanke specially stated at a brief ceremony in the hospital that driven by his love and preference for the less privileged people in his immediate community and beyond, his gesture will help alleviate the unsettling financial burden most of the patients in the hospital bear.

The benefactor, aspiring to represent Obudu, Bekwarra, and Obanliku Federal Constituency, also enjoined the hospital administrator, Rev. Fr. Benard Anake to pray for quick recovery of the patients, and further urged the doctors attending to the patients, to show professional competence like they have always done.

Several of the patients and family members spoken to, expressed joy at the rare gesture and prayed that God will grant the desires of Akpanke as well as grant him long life and good health.
