APC Takes Over CR PDP State Secretariat

Posted on May 22, 2021 By Admin No Comments on APC Takes Over CR PDP State Secretariat
The CR PDP Secretariat before it was taken over.

We can confidently confirm that Thursday’s movement of CRS governor Ben Ayade, from the PDP to the APC, has consumed her first victim this morning with the supervised stripping of the PDP secretariat on the Murtala Muhammed highway, early this morning.

Heavy security presence with several government white trucks on standby, were present as insignia of the PDP, office furniture and other personal effects of members were removed. Painters were immediately mobilized and are almost completing the painting of the now former PDP secretariat with APC colours. Movement into the building is restricted by stern looking security personnel, believed to be acting on the orders of the governor.

When news of the CRS’s APC ‘acquisition’ of the PDP state secretariat filtered in early this morning, a former chieftain of the PDP who has since decamped to the APC with the governor, told www.calitown.com that “…the building is not a PDP building. The PDP couldn’t pay rent on the property and our party the APC has gone to pay this rent and we have taken possession of the property.” This source who has elected not to be named further maintained that “we all know that the owner of the property built it not for charity but something for commercial purposes.”

Political watchers are however of the opinion that this take over of the PDP secretariat is an acrimonious takeover meant to bring the PDP to her knees.
